The World Federation of Young Investors was recently founded by four countries in Scandinavia. The organisation was established to unite and provide education for private investors. It will function as a liaison organisation for national organisations around the world.
The goal of the organisation is to simplify investments abroad, promote shareholder education, represent young investor’s rights, and to help in the creation of national shareholders organisations around the world.
Elizavéta Lindström was elected General Secretary during the congress in Oslo, Norway and will represent the organisation during the next mandate period. She has been an active member of the Young Shareholders Association in Sweden and is active as a student in business and as a business owner.
”I have been involved in the Young Shareholders Association in Sweden for a time and seen all the good work that has been done in Sweden. Through my travels I have seen the need for such work to be done in other countries as well” – Elizavéta Lindström
